Barbara Karleuša, Boris Beraković, Nevenka Ožanić

Abstract

The use of the multiple optimization procedure called ELECTRE TRI for selecting the most favorable alternative for irrigation of agricultural land in Western Istria is described. The entire analytical procedure is presented, i.e. definition of methodological principles, determination of criteria, generation of alternatives, and selection of an optimum alternative. The significance of proper selection of criteria to be used in finding an optimum solution is emphasized, and individual steps of the analysis are presented.
